Ford Ranger Frame Strength?
In the distant future I plan to build up my Ford Ranger. Its a 89 with a 2.3L 4cyl. I mean tear it up when it’s done. Engine out and put a 5.0L in. Thinking about Proformance Unlimiteds crate. Then put a 4 or 6 speed in it. or 5 idk. new clutch and then new rearend. maybe turbocharger, supercharger or procharger. my question is about the frame and suspension. this would be a prostreet project. would the frame hold one all of this up and two together under torque and all that. if not where could i find a frame to house this mighty midget. (the name. now its the maroon midget cause its maroon but a paint job will come with it). and suspension. moving from the I4 to a V8 will most likely need new suspension. where can i get parts for things like that. and then rollcage. if i do this it will need something to keep me safe. where do i get a rollcage setup or is that all custom. (i’m guessing professional done for regulations). just some questions for me to think about as i want to build this tiny beast.

CAn I Put A Big Block 454 in a 1984 delta 88?
I am a proud owner of a delta 88 oldsmobile and was wondering if anyone knew if i could put a 454 engine in my car. i currently have a 307 5.0l enginge that only max’s 180-190hp it feels like a lawnmower i m driving. can anyone help me out here?
